Hallé Partner Schools benefit from longer-term relationships with visiting Hallé musicians. Schools are primarily from Greater Manchester and enjoy good relationships with their local music service. The Hallé also works with select schools that provide specialist education for young people with complex physical and sensory needs, advanced learning disabilities and communication difficulties.

Many of the Hallé partner schools take part in the Hallé Education Core Programme, which focuses on music education in Greater Manchester schools by supporting the national curriculum through interactive concerts and creative music projects. This core programme is strategically delivered in collaboration with Greater Manchester and Manchester Youth Music Education Hubs. School projects in our core programme include Adopt-a-Player, Hallé Inspire and the Hallé for Youth Schools’ projects (the latter being connected to our annual series of spring school concerts, Hallé for Youth).
