Hallé Partner Schools benefit from longer-term relationships with visiting Hallé musicians. Schools are primarily from Greater Manchester and enjoy good relationships with their local music service. The Hallé also works with select schools that provide specialist education for young people with complex physical and sensory needs, advanced learning disabilities and communication difficulties.
The Hallé work with a large number of schools within Greater Manchester. Many of these take part in the Hallé Education Core Programme, which focuses on supporting music and the national curriculum through interactive concerts and creative projects.
This core programme is strategically delivered in collaboration with the Greater Manchester and Blackburn with Darwen Music Education Hub who nominate schools from each Greater Manchester borough to take part every year. School projects in our core programme include Adopt-A-Player, Hallé Inspire and Hallé For Youth (the latter being connected to our annual series of spring school concerts with the same title).
