Get involved with the Hallé archive by volunteering during one of our open days. Meet new people whilst learning how the archive is stored and maintained for future generations.
The Hallé needs your help in cleaning, sorting and tidying the Hallé archive. An exceptional collection of documents related to the Hallé 166-year history of making music in Manchester and around the world. This is your chance to make a difference in helping us make this influential resource accessible. Ensuring we can uncover more hidden stories about Manchester’s oldest Orchestra.

Places are limited so please book on in advance via the link above. This event is open to people aged 16 and over. Refreshments will be provided. The event is free but places are limited. We would therefore strongly advise you book as soon as possible. If you can no longer attend please consider cancelling your ticket via Eventbrite to allow for someone else to attend in your place. There is likely to be a photographer present on the day, if you do not wish to be in any photographs used for promotional purposes please let a member of staff know on the day.
