Hallé Archive Talks
A series of free talks delving in to the Hallé Archive and exploring the history of the Hallé Concerts Society.
As part of the National Lottery Heritage Funded project Ancoats: the Hallé Story, the Hallé archive team will be hosting a series of history talks. Showing items from the archive, sharing stories about the people who helped shape the Hallé over the decades and exploring the impact the Hallé has had on Manchester’s music scene.
All events are free to attend thanks to players of the National Lottery.
Each talk is scheduled either before or after a concert rush hour or chamber performance, making it the perfect accompaniment to your visit to the Hallé.

This event is open to people aged 12 and over. Anyone under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note the Hallé Archive talks are free to attend but the Hallé concert before or after is not and is a separate event requiring a different ticket.
Refreshments will be provided.
There is likely to be a photographer present on the day, if you do not wish to be in any photographs used for promotional purposes please let a member of staff know on the day.
