Ring in the New Year with a concert of sparkling Viennese music.

This traditional celebration is packed with the best-loved melodies, from the buoyant Blue Danube to the beautiful Wiener Blut waltz.

Conducted by Stephen Bell, and joined by soprano Rebecca Bottone, the Hallé will make Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall feel just like a Viennese ballroom.

What to expect:

This event is a light-hearted concert with lots of shorter pieces, some for orchestra and some with a singer. It is reminiscent of the traditional Viennese New Year’s Day concerts.
