Join the Hallé Brass Ensemble at the picturesque Rivington Terraced Gardens for a summer evening of shining music for brass. Comprised of 12 members of the Hallé’s world class Brass section, the ensemble are presenting a varied programme for the whole family to enjoy, including music from Baroque to Bond!

The first half of the concert features some of the best known classical pieces across history. Opening with Walton’s stirring Agincourt and moving through the renaissance with Greensleeves. They will take you on to experience the romance of the operatic stage with Puccini’s gently lilting waltz from La bohème and finish the first half with Chris Hazell’s Jazz infused Brass Cats.

Following a short break, the Halle Brass will transport you to a world of glitz and glamour with a selection of tunes from the stage and screen. Hear the swagger of James Bond, relax to the sound of Duke Ellington and dance along to Queen’s greatest hits to wrap up the night.
