Book nowFollowing the success of the 2023 Final, the three most promising young conductors of the 2026 competition will each take to The Bridgewater Hall stage to direct the Hallé orchestra live, competing to become the newest member of the Hallé family.
Put through their paces the previous week, these shortlisted, emerging artists have been selected from hundreds of applicants around the world. To showcase their astonishing abilities, each finalist will conduct Bernstein’s Candide Overture before tackling one of these popular symphonic works:
- Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances
- Sibelius Symphony No.5
- Brahms Symphony No.3
