Hallé Soundventures
Hallé Soundventures enables your pupils to explore a curriculum topic through the means of music.
In this series of fun practical sessions, the class will work with two Hallé musicians to create a piece of music which ties into a curriculum topic which they’re currently studying in school. During the workshops, pupils will get the chance to hear the Hallé musicians perform, play their own instruments and create a piece of music.
At the end of four weekly workshops, the Hallé musicians will perform with the class in a school performance of their newly created piece of music. The performance can also include other elements of the class’s curriculum learning, such as artwork, poetry or any facts that they have learnt.
Previous curriculum topics have included Ancient Egypt, Anglo Saxons, volcanoes, the water cycle, France, living in extreme environments, evolution, fitness and the blue planet. We can cater to almost any topic request!
This project is available for Key Stage 2 and two classes can take part in back-to-back workshops, working on different or the same curriculum topics.
