Hallé For Youth – Cities of the World
Hallé for Youth is the annual series of schools’ concerts performed by the Hallé at The Bridgewater Hall, one of the country’s finest concert halls, which provide a live music experience for young people who, in most cases, have never heard a symphony orchestra before.
A themed concert for schools looking at the cities of the world and the music from their cultures. These concerts blend music from London to Buenos Aires to Sydney and more. During the concert, the young people learn about key elements of music and the orchestra. Each concert includes a live camera feed enabling the whole audience to see the instruments of the orchestra more easily.
Across the four concerts in the series, the orchestra plays to thousands of young people from all over the north-west. The Manchester concerts also feature performances of creative school projects based on some of the pieces being played. This season, there will be three performances for Key Stage 2 and one performance for Key Stage 3.
ALL tickets £5.50 each (including accompanying adults). Tickets will go on sale Monday 30 October 2023.
