Come and Play with the Hallé is a unique series of concerts specially designed to offer thousands of children on the Whole Class Ensemble Teaching programme the opportunity to play and sing with an international symphony orchestra, both at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and in other national centres.

Your musicians can play along with the musicians of the world-famous Hallé. A musical journey through the sports of the Olympic Games with two instrumental pieces to play along with, two songs to sing and a dance piece to get you moving.

These concerts are designed primarily for specific music education hubs and music services.

  • In the first instance please contact your local music education hub or music service. More information on how to find your local music hub can be found on the Greater Manchester Music Hub website.
  • The concert on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 10.30am (rehearsal at 10am) is open to any school who, for whatever reason, is not able to join a specific hub/music service concert.

  • School tickets are £7 per head (students and teachers)
  • Audience tickets are £8.50 each (U10s free)

We advise to arrive 45 minutes prior to the concert start time.
