Bring your class to hear the wonderful Hallé live in concert! New for this year, our summer concerts series now include options for KS2 and KS3 pupils. See below for details.

World Cup Fever! – Come & Play for KS2

Designed for KS2 pupils, our Come & Play concerts give pupils the opportunity to play and sing with an international symphony orchestra. With an option for those who would like to prepare the play-along pieces and bring their instruments, schools are also welcome to just come to watch or come and sing. Our schools’ concerts performed by the Hallé at The Bridgewater Hall, one of the country’s finest concert halls, provide a live music experience for young people who, in most cases, have never heard a symphony orchestra before. All schools will receive free resources in advance of the concert, to have fun in your music classes, make Model Music Curriculum links and prepare the pupils for the concert visit.

World Cup Fever! – An Introduction to the Orchestra for KS3

An Introduction to the Orchestra is specifically designed for KS3 and will be celebrating the World Cup! Our schools’ concerts performed by the Hallé at The Bridgewater Hall, one of the country’s finest concert halls, provide a live music experience for young people who, in most cases, have never heard a symphony orchestra before. All schools will receive free resources in advance of the concert to have fun in your music classes, make Model Music Curriculum links and prepare the pupils for the concert visit.

Please note, the KS3 concert will not include any play-along or sing-along pieces. If you would like to join in with these pieces, please book tickets for a KS2 concert.

If your school is attending a concert with the Hallé you might be interested in booking a Concert Prep Workshop. These in-school workshops are designed to prepare the class for being in the audience in a formal concert setting and introduce some of the music that will be performed through fun music-based activities. More information on booking a Concert Prep Workshop can be found here: https://halle.co.uk/project/concert-prep-workshops/
