Come and Play – World Cup Mania
Come and Play with the Hallé is a unique series of concerts specially designed to offer thousands of children on the Whole Class Ensemble Teaching programme the opportunity to play and sing with an international symphony orchestra, both at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and in other national centres.
Passion for world class football is sweeping the globe, and what better opportunity to explore some great music?
Working with schools through our many Music Education Hub partners, Come and Play with the Hallé is a specially designed concert for Key Stage 2 schoolchildren learning a musical instrument via the Whole Class Ensemble Teaching Programme.
These concerts are designed primarily for specific music education hubs and music services.
- In the first instance please contact your local music education hub or music service. More information on how to find your local music hub can be found on the Greater Manchester Music Hub website.
Tickets:
- School tickets are £8 per head (students and teachers)
- Audience tickets are £9 each (U10s free)
We advise to arrive 45 minutes prior to the concert start time.
Running time approximately 65 minutes.
If your school is attending a concert with the Hallé you might be interested in booking a Concert Prep Workshop. These in-school workshops are designed to prepare the class for being in the audience in a formal concert setting and introduce some of the music that will be performed through fun music-based activities. More information on booking a Concert Prep Workshop can be found here: https://halle.co.uk/project/concert-prep-workshops/
