The season draws to an exhilarating finish with Carl Orff’s epic and instantly recognisable choral work.

From thunderous choruses to moments of quiet reflection, the powerful rhythms and unforgettable melodies of Carmina Burana will be performed by the massed forces of Hallé Orchestra, Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus, Hallé Children’s Choir and a cast of fantastic soloists, all under the direction of the inspirational conductor, Matthew Hamilton.

Mendelssohn brilliantly captures the magic and humour of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Let yourself be transported to the enchanted forest with fluttering fairies, moonlit landscapes and a triumphant wedding march.
